I’m proud to join the editorial team of the American Journal of Public Health in the position of deputy editor as we strive to put forth important research that elucidates the pathways that fuel health inequities. In addition, we aim to promote programs and policies as valuable tools toward influencing global and national agendas to reduce health inequalities. It is with these goals at the forefront of our mission that this month’s issue is dedicated to the theme, "Health Inequalities: Locally, Nationally, and Globally."
