Chronic Wasting Diseases In People and Other Animals
Scientific and criminal reasons exist for these diseases. The root
cause of the types of CWD in Colorado and Wyoming is the ingestion or
inhalation of mercury. Mercury is emitted by coal-burning power plants
and is not being monitored or controlled. This elemental mercury is
oxidized by ozone and removed from the air by rain and snow so drought
allows the mercury to travel outside the endemic area. It is found in the
air, water, soil and all life downwind of the polluting plant.
Dr. Dennis Gersten provides the best evidence (1) that mercury causes
chronic wasting diseases in people and other animals with similar organs
and nervous systems. He states: “Mercury can be a causative or
contributing factor to almost every disease”. People and other animals
may be tested for heavy metals by the “provocative challenge test for
toxic elements” detailed in this reference. The Greater Boston Physicians
for Social Responsibility provides the best evidence (2) for mercury's
neurotoxicity and the tragic human consequences of absorption.
Colorado has 12 active coal mines and 14 coal-burning power plants
spewing out mercury, lead, manganese and other heavy metals. The worst is
the Raw Hide power plant north of Fort Collins -- Mercury's attacks on
immune systems are causing the acute and chronic insect, animal and human
diseases downwind. These emissions are causing the alcohol, meth and
health problems as well as sex crimes (lead) and rage/hate crimes
(manganese). Federal, state and Xcel energy officials are aware (3) of
the toxic effects of Western coal such as autism (2), Mad Cow (4),
mutations (8,9,10), learning disabilities (2), chronic illnesses (1),
birth defects (3) cancers (2,3,4,7), and the violence (2).
Kentuckians diagnosed with a type of CJD had one thing in common;
they all ate squirrel brains (5). Area coal mine drainage was entering
local streams. Depending on the mine location, coal can contain any of
about 100 heavy metal isotopes. When coal dust/ash is inhaled, it can
cause Black Lung. When mine drainage is ingested and absorbed by the
brain, it can cause CJD.
The currently accepted cause of CWD and CJD is that some unknown
factor produces prions which in turn attack the brain and become
infectious to others of that species. This 21-year-old Nobel Prize-
winning Prion Theory was cobbled together by Colorado and Wyoming medical,
science and veterinary academia to:
(a) Continue the cover-up of massive environmental (6) and public
integrity (7) crimes.
(b) Divert public attention from the industrywide contamination of
supermarket meat, poultry, eggs, milk, fish and produce by lead, manganese
(suicide, xenophobia, Parkinson's), salmonella, listeria, E. coli, and
endocrine disrupters such as mercury, molybdenum (Alzheimers), coal and
diesel smoke that can alter the sex (8) and genes (9,10) of the unborn --
human and animal.

“Preliminary results from their research suggest that wildfire is a ‘huge’

Lawrence Radke was part of a NCAR-Forest Service team. They determined
that mercury was coming from the soil and from the trees. This would
explain why working in sawmills causes nasal/sinus cancer - “wood dust”
has been added to the NIEHS list of carcinogens.
