COVID-19: Health Emergency Preparedness in Latin America and the Caribbean

This special issue, a joint effort of AJPH and the Pan American Journal of Public Health, focuses on the COVID-19 pandemic and health emergency preparedness in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Research articles and perspectives address topics such as COVID-19 challenges in Venezuela and Colombia, health insurance, cancer care access in Chile, mental health of health care workers in Guatemala, and more.

Funding for this special issue was provided by the Pan American Health Organization.
