Leveraging The Power of Communities During Public Health Emergencies

This special issue of AJPH focuses on how community-engaged research has documented and helped intervene to reduce or eliminate COVID-19 burden in populations who have been disproportionally affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly among African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations, as well as socioeconomically disadvantaged populations and underserved rural populations.
